Cast Iron Plaque Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Speech, one of the most important speeches in American history. Very interesting and very displayable piece of Abraham Lincoln memorabilia. It is a very heavy 12 1/2 pounds. Includes a bas-relief profile bust of Abraham Lincoln surrounded by laurels and flags and the top. All appear to be hand painted. The heading says “Lincoln’s Gettysburg Speech”. At the bottom is a facsimile of Lincoln’s signature at the date November 19, 1863, the date Lincoln delivered his historic speech. Based on the patina and the four spots for mounting of the plaque, we assume it was probably mounted on a building wall. Dramatic looking piece of history.
